My Interest in Educational Technology
Seven years ago, I thought of pursuing a career as a teacher since I wanted to help others. I have always enjoyed creative pursuits that involve the production of a tangible product. I had my doubts about teaching; I knew it would not satisfy my need to create as my career as a Web Developer has. Although I have enjoyed working as a Web Developer, creating websites left my desire to help others unfulfilled and prompted me to investigate my interest in Education.
To explore this interest, I taught Web Development at Newbury College in Brookline, Massachusetts. The experience reaffirmed my interest in Education. I then looked for a way to merge my interest in Web Development and Education and found it when I discovered the field of Educational Technology.
Personal Interests
In my free time I can be found throwing pots of all shapes and sizes on the pottery wheel, writing fiction, and spending time with my husband and friends.
